Fix for External Users (The Internet) - Port Forwarding & IIS Bindings

This fix ensures everyone outside your network can access your site.

  • Router (TP-Link) Configuration:

    • You MUST have Port Forwarding set up correctly on your TP-Link router.

    • Forward External Port 80 to the Internal IP of your IIS Server (e.g., $192.168.0.100$).

    • Forward External Port 443 to the Internal IP of your IIS Server (e.g., $192.168.0.100$).

port forwarding for 443 was not done so gettingg error and redirected to tplink page
