chroot failed

 [mnt]

        path = /mnt/

        comment = An Example

        auth users = root

        secrets file = /etc/rsyncd.secrets

        read only = no

        uid = root

        gid = root

        use chroot = yes

chroot like this won't work

[mnt]

        path = /mnt/data

        comment = An Example

        auth users = root

        secrets file = /etc/rsyncd.secrets

        read only = no

        uid = root

        gid = root

        use chroot = yes

path should be single directory or path not  subfolder
