ubuntu login UI not appearing problem

If you are not getting the login UI because of any error like file permissions messed up or any wrong setting or anything else, you can get ubuntu back in action by simply upgrading by going to grub menu and choose advance startup option then go to shell as root user and from there upgrade your system suppose you are using ubuntu 18.10 then simply upgrade to 19.04, you would easily get all the commands to upgrade by searching google.
