how to change DNS in ubuntu

  1. Search ' Network Connection'
  2. Open it
  4. Then select either WiFi or Ethernet, or whatever you are using, and click on edit. You'll get this:
    1. Select ipv4 in tabs
    2. Select addresses only in method
    3. Enter your DNS name below, and save it
    4. You're done
