when you start a web browser and if you see some webpages loads automatically like http://search.conduit.com/?gd=&ctid=CT3323128&octid=EB_ORIGINAL_CTID&ISID=MB85BBD19-4A92-41E2-A093-98935041467C&SearchSource=55&CUI=&UM=5&UP=SPE72D8050-DD54-43A6-AC86-D6A53F0B4210&SSPV= or hi.ru then your system may get infected as these types of search engine or homepages attched with your browsers new tab or homepage shows you ads and take complete control over your browsers and this type of hijackers dows not get removed easily so i am going to explain how to remove this type of hijackers from your pc and be safe from the web To remove from REGISTRY first of all start run then type regedit and press enter a popup may appear press yes after that click on edit and select find then just copy paste the url from the browser that gets load automatically then click on find next when you find the link click on that and select modify and make it empty means delete everything do this continuosly until finished it and you dont find any more after searching.now check if this does not work do the next step If the problem only occurs with the desktop shortcut, check for a hijacked "target" using the Desktop side of Windows. Right-click the icon, choose Properties, then the Shortcut tab. If you have pinned the Firefox icon to the Taskbar there is an extra click: right-click the icon and then right-click Mozilla Firefox. Then you can get to Properties for 32 bit system "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" for 64 bit system "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" and if you are unable to do this simply uninsatll firefox and reinsatll it. for resetting the browser Reset Internet Explorer Open Internet Explorer. Click on Tools menu (Press “F10” key once to active the menu bar), click on Internet Option. A internet option window will open. For IE9, IE10 users may click on Gear icon IE Gear Icon. Then click on tools. Click on Advanced tab,then click on RESET button. Now you will get a new popup for confirmation, tick mark on Delete personal setting then click on RESET button on that. Now your Internet Explorer has been Restored to default settings. for firefox Open Firefox and then go the Helpmenu (Press “F10” key once to active Menu bar) Go to Help menu then click on “Troubleshooting information” Note: you can also open this page in this ways, open Firefox then type this command in the address bar “about:support” (without quote) and then hit enter or OK. You will get a page “Troubleshooting information” page, here you will get “Reset Firefox” option in the right side of the page. Click on Reset Firefox option. and follow their instruction to reset. Now your Mozilla Firefox has been Restored to default settings.
