Why svchost.exe connects to internet and take huge amount of bandwidth

if you are using comodo firewall than u can easily see  that svchost.exe connects to the internet and takes huge amount of bandwith if you block it your internet will stop working.Actually avchost.exe is a DNS client.
DNS stand for domain name service.

so if you want to block it and want to use internet simply follow this steps


Very simple ......
start >> Run >> type 'Services.msc' hit enter
In that Double click on "DNS Client"
Stop the service & Disable it ....
Now u can block Svchost.exe from Internet...
